Product Description

DEW Marine Oil 5025 and 5040 is blended by high-quality base oil and high performance additives. Formulation has been specifically developed for sulfur emission control area.

Note: It contains high ash due to its high TBN number (70), therefore, it is not recommended to be used in diesel engines that uses low sulphureous fuels.

Features and Benefits

This formulation boasts exceptional viscosity-temperature management which ensures compatibility with latest generation engines performing at higher pressure and temperatures. It curtails friction and wear off to lengthen engine life through enhanced lubricity and superior anti-wear performance. Its exceptional detergency and dispersancy resists the formation of carbon deposits on cylinder ring groove as well as cylinder liner, guaranteeing the cleanliness of engine combustion chamber. It is specifically formulated to dimish liner and ring wear off through superior diffusivity performance which ensures the prompt formation of oil films over the cylinder surface through quick propulsion and dispersion of oil.

Applications

DEW Marine Cylinder Oil 5025 and 5040 is suitable for use in Marine low speed two stroke crosshead diesel engine cylinders using fuel oil with sulfur content less than 0.5% including new type fuels.
