DEWMARE MARINE OIL 5070 is a high-performance diesel engine oil with an extra high total base number (TBN=70), developed for use as cylinder oil in crosshead type diesel engines that uses very high sulphureous heavy fuels in maritime and industrial areas. This product prevents maximum stickiness and corrosive wear at high temperatures and pressures in cylinder lubrication of ‘crosshead’ type modern diesel engines. In diesel engines that uses high sulfur fuels, strong acidic combustion residuals are formed as a result of combustion. This engine oil neutralizes acidic combustion products with their high total base number and strong detergent feature and facilitates the removal of water in the separator. Note: It contains high ash due to its high TBN number (70), therefore, it is not recommended to be used in diesel engines that uses low sulphureous fuels.
Offers superior resistance against heat, oxidation, and rust. Cleans the engine with its superior detergent dispersant feature. With its high TBN value, it neutralizes the acidic combustion products formed by the combustion of high sulfur in the fuel and helps them to be removed from the engine.
Should be used in all kinds of trunk piston crankcases of diesel engines using medium or high sulphureous fuels in ships and industrial areas.
